Congratulations on your purchase of the ReelMagic product.

This readme.txt file contains information about how to use the Sigma
Designs' DemoCD and Demo Player to preview a number of exciting new 
interactive ReelMagic software titles, many of which can be purchased
using the software catalog, found on the inside cover of the DemoCD.

To use the Demo Player you must first correctly install the ReelMagic
MPEG controller and CD-ROM drive.  Demo Player is a Microsoft Windows
application that can be used in the following way:

1) From the Windows Program Manager select "Run" from the "File" menu. 
2) Select "Browse" and then select "DPlayer.exe" from the demoCD.
3) Select "OK" and the Demo Player will run.

By clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the Demo Player window 
you will be able to preview a number of the ReelMagic interactive titles
in different categories that are either currently available or soon to be
released.  The status window under the video preview window lists the 
software title on which the video sequence is located.

Control buttons resembling those on a VCR provide stop, fast forward 
and rewind controls.  The outer most buttons in the control bar strip
will jump forward or backward to the next video sequence.  Volume
control can be adjusted using the slider located directly under the
status window.

to return your ReelMagic warranty card so we can send updates on  new
software releases to you.

Important:  This demo CD contains some files that have been intended for
playback on a double speed CD-ROM drive (300kB transfer rate). 
If you have a single speed CD-ROM drive (150kB transfer rate) you 
may experience some skipping of the audio and video of those files.
